Let’s start

1. Please ensure the following pre-requisites:

a. The signature pad is connected to your computer. 
b. Signature pad’s drivers are preinstalled in the computer. (Draw To Sign currently supports Topaz Systems Inc and StepOver GmbH’s electronic signature pad)

For StepOver hardware API drivers, you can download from here. (Right click and click Save link as …)

Setup instructions

2. Unzip our solution package provided to a folder.

3. Run DrawToSignV2.exe and its icon will appear in the system tray.

Enter License Key

4. Right click on the icon and click License.

Enter the license key in the License dialog box and click OK.

Set signing area

5. Right click on the icon and select “Set Signature area”.

Simply left click on your mouse, drag and release the mouse click to define your signature area. You only need to do this once.

 

Sign naturally

4. Open your application and sign naturally with your signature pad.

5. Right click on our system tray icon and select “Settings” for more options.

a. Auto Clear LCD timing in Second (0-100) refers to after signing on the LCD, the time interval need to auto reset the screen. This is useful if signature is wrongly signed. You can wait a while before attempting a second signature.
b. Starts Program when Windows Starts refers to auto start Draw To Sign upon windows start up. This is especially useful for kiosk signing.
c. Signature Field Selection refers to mapping between the signature pad LCD window and the computer screen.
-You can choose a static area where under point 4, you can choose to set a signature area. The LCD signature will be mirrored onto this area. 
-You can choose a active window where the signature area is auto mapped to the size of the windows with the predefined size.
The size of the window can be specified in the setting Active Window Reduction Size (100-50).
